White Dog, Quinn, Nuka, Puff and YoYoMa wish everyone a safe and wonderful day celebrating the incredible beginning of our country, an experiment in freedom and tolerance! We DO believe there is no better place on this planet to call home!

We want to remind everyone to take a minute during this day to remember that freedom is not without responsibility. And that there are still too many within our borders for whom freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. All of us, two- and four-legged, have an obligation to make sure that the original grand commitment to a nation built on personal freedom and a voice for all remains our country's driving force.

Take a stand every day in even the simplest ways. Fight for the precepts that founded our country: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness..."

And to that the White Dog Army would extend these same rights to the animals living in shelters, waiting on death row, those abused, neglected, forgotten and voiceless...Something to think about as we wave the flag and hopefully pay homage to those original patriots who were religious outcasts, social misfits, and revolutionaries in the European view...but who were willing to give up their lives for an astonishing belief, to make real and guarantee for future generations a Land built on acceptance and the individual.
