White Dog and the White Dog Army wagged and howled their happiness. Their enthusiastic response made Candace smile. It was a day that SHOULD have been one of crazy rejoicing and joy for our combined families but sadly, Daisy is still under the weather. Skye and Kandy were focused on providing comfort and companionship not on celebrating Candace's exciting news.
Even the event prompting our glee had to be tempered. Daisy's sickies made Candace relocate the meeting to a coffeehouse around the corner so that Becky would not possibly carry sickie germs back to her own pack. The papers were signed. The adoption complete.
The little girl three times adopted and returned now has a forever home that already has her cuddling with siblings and asking for love.
And we WILL celebrate. Correctly. In White Dog Army style. With a feast. But AFTER Daisy is up to it.
For now the WDA will leave the reaction to Candace's foster failure a quiet White Dog riot, making sure that the newest member of our family, tiny little Kandy Kane, could hear our welcome even out in the Studio.
Sure hope the little one is feeling better soon!! We are confused though...not sure who Kandy Kane is?

Jeanne Pursell, we have a friend who lives in my Studio space as she reacclimates and get back on her feet. Her two Eskies, Skye and Daisy, came with her. She decided to foster Kandy Kane but the 3x adopted and returned senior ex-breeder mill girl was just a natural fit...so se has joined Candace's family and our larger community.
