White Dog looked at me across the living room thick with people and asked, "Where is the quiet evening we had planned?" Our plan flew out of the window when Rob and Sarah came in to hang. We had a brief breath of silence when they headed to the grocery to choose their dinner. Then Christine, her new boyfriend Tim, and baby Tyler burst onto the scene. Returning from shopping, Rob and Sarah filled up the furniture. Adam's call put us into sensory overload. Just as suddenly, everyone cleared out leaving us alone to prepare for bed.
