White Dog and Max stretched out side-by-side on the living room carpet. White Dog rolled on her back and assumed a perfect "dead dog" pose. She turned her head , looked pointedly at Max, then resumed her former position. Once again she caught Max's attention then performed "dead dog." Max watched for a moment then twisted his upper body in an attempt to copy her. White Dog was trying to teach Max her "dead dog" trick!
