White Dog has been wonderfully cooperative in her leashless, fenceless potty breaks during the construction process. She goes out to the front yard, often in the midst of all kinds of distractions (neighbors, insulation guys, traffic), does her business then comes right back to the door. I was worried at first how this would all be managed but White Dog has convinced me to respect her responsible nature...Except that she cannot resist chasing cats! Steve took her out as I was writing this entry and she bolted down the sidewalk after a cat. She did return to him after much calling but I guess there still a part of White Dog that is not ready to "settle down."
