White Dog and I invented Bed Fishing this afternoon. I hold the leash end and toss Jack off the bed's edge. Then as if I were trolling or playing a fish on the line, I raise and lower Jack at varying speeds all along the side of the bed. Sometimes Jack jumps almost to the top of the bed; other times the toy sloooowly creeps up and then down. For her part, White Dog perches on the bed peering over the side, waits to nab Jack out of the "water" and onto the bed, shakes the landed Jack soundly, then returns it to me so we might play again.
