White Dog and I are disgusted by the mindless mudslinging of campaign literature. "Where's the substance?" I ask her in frustration. "The ideas, the solutions to problems--all this is fear mongering and name calling!" I hand her a flyer to shred. "Don't know," she replied, mouth full of paper. "Why do the voters accept such pap from their potential leaders?"
