White Dog lay curled up against Steve and patiently listened as he pointed out places in Dominica where we had been which were in the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 movie. When we visited the island White Dog was only a few days old in Kansas and we were still grieving the loss of Sheena our beloved Sheltie who died a few weeks earlier. We were not even sure that we wanted another dog. The rainy island hid our tears and its beauty helped us mend. Everyone in Dominica was excited about the film crew's imminent arrival. Fate intervened and White Dog soon after came to us.
