White Dog came in with more goathead burrs painfully clinging to her. At lunchtime Steve went out with her and discovered the source. White Dog has begun a huge excavation project in the middle of a briar patch that Steve burned out last Fall. Apparently some of the plants (or their spiky seed pods) still are viable enough to hitch a ride on White Dog's fur. Hopefully, Steve can permanently fix the problem this weekend.
