White Dog and I both feel restless and misogynistic. We are awash in humans making really stupid decisions--in politics, around the world, and especially in our own family circle. Everywhere everyone seems to be operating thoughtlessly. "Whatever happened to decisions based on common sense and kindness?" I asked White Dog. "Must have been before my time," she replied. "Let's play squirrel."
