White Dog does not understand why humans seem to have such a knack for making bad choices that come back to haunt us later. My new tutoring student's mom keeps him from lessons to manipulate her "ex", my aunt develops stress health problems rather than set limits on the expressed anger of my adult sister...and tonight's movie Farewell My Concubine was a series of tragic decisions played out. Neither Steve nor I had words to erase White Dog's puzzlement.
