White Dog took the pig ear and stashed it behind the coffee table. Then she returned to mooch bites of pumpkin pie. Her new-found temperance in not gorging herself on pig ear has led to speculation that White Dog's moderation is the result of making herself sick over-eating a previous porker. She still seems to enjoy them, but now takes the time to savor.
