White Dog tore through the dog door and hallway. She pulled up next to me at the computer and flopped on her back, ears flat and shaking. I thought she had been hurt. Calmly I stroked her belly exploring her little body for injury but found nothing. I picked up White Dog (who was still trembling) and carefully examined her head to toe. Thank goodness everything seemed fine--no burrs, no cuts, no bee stings. Finally she took a deep breath and sagged against me. Minutes later White Dog was her "normal" self and jumped down...leaving me alone to wonder what had frightened her so.
