White Dog greeted Gregg with vigorous "Happy Birthday" wishes and then settled between him and Candace for a group petting session. The wine was fragrant and the conversation stimulating. White Dog was amused by Rob and Sarah's brief appearance during which Rob swirled then chugged the expensive Red in a birthday toast. The five of us (White Dog, Steve, Gregg, Candace and me) are thinking the Thanksgiving weekend will be our best chance for the annual LA food and culture trek and we spent some time tonight conversationally planning/dreaming.
