White Dog sang "Happy Birthday" to Candace when she came in this evening and brought her best toys over for the birthday girl to play with. When the humans returned from a Thai birthday feast, White Dog hid her disappointment of the lack of "doggie bags." She was pleased that Candace was touched by the donation we made in her name to the Dachshund Rescue. White Dog even let Candace know that it would be OK if she added a rescued doxie to the family. (Although the reality of Candace's and Gregg's work/school schedules makes that unlikely).
