White Dog noted the changes in our normal Sunday routine because of Steve's sprained ankle and was sympathetic but sad. She missed the trip to the park and the car ride even though she understood the reason. She was attentive to laid-up Steve and spent a good portion of the day at his side cuddling, reassuring, and napping with him. White Dog was very glad when Gregg and Candace stopped by to check on Steve's condition and offered to take her for a walk. White Dog had second thoughts about deserting Steve and almost turned back. Instead White Dog turned the walk into a whirlwind dash so she could return to her patient as quickly as possible.
