White Dog is overjoyed because she and Steve are going to resume their bedtime walk ritual! I think Steve is pushing his sprained ankle too hard but he agreed to keep it wrapped, to wear his ankle-supporting hiking boots, and to go slowly. Hopefully, White Dog will not let her exuberance run unchecked. Both, I believe, will benefit--Steve can stop feeling guilty about nightly disappointing White Dog and she can walk off some excess energy. Hopefully no one will hurt later.
