White Dog's day was socially demanding. Her old friend, Jim, beloved former mailman, surprised us by stopping by to visit and return some books. She misses him terribly on a daily basis but know his move to Austin was important to him. Christine and Tim came over to finish painting the porch and to hang out this afternoon. White Dog is coming to like Tim and the attention he gives her; White Dog thinks Christine has finally found a "keeper." Later, Adam and Deborah came by for a Thai food feast featuring Steve's famous Green Curry Chicken--in honor of Adam's birthday. We had a great time laughing, sharing, and eating. It seems Adam, too, has found a gem in Deborah. Just about at the time we were closing up shop, Rob and Sarah came in needing quality time and wanting to talk. Both White Dog's and Steve's eyes were drooping by the end of the discussion but they needed to share the insights they are discovering through premarriage counselling. At last, the only sounds are the Sugar Gliders demanding their nocturnal breakfast!
