White Dog has irked me tonight. All day long it is she and I. I'm the one who makes time when working to stop and give attention. I'm here for treats and pets and cuddles and trades. I listen to her bark and reassure her when she whines. Yet when crabby Steve comes home and prompts an argument, White Dog abandons me and doesn't even look back as the two of them huff off.
