White Dog had to sniff every gift before and after wrapping...an Eskie form of quality control? She really wanted the sentimental stuffed bear...no, REALLY...but allowed me to wrap it and put a sticker with Nancy's name on it. Then she laid next to it as it sat on the stack and just sniffed and coveted. A less virtuous girl might have grabbed it and run.
