White Dog thinks the idea of solar energy to power our house is a great one but she understands the upfront costs are huge. That is why she sat in and listened carefully as Scott gave Gregg, Candace, Steve and I an at-home presentation about CitizenRe. This start-up company leases and maintains home PV solar systems at a cost comparable to our current electric bill. Afterward we were all pretty positive as we discussed the concept and shared dinner. White Dog says that evenings like this make her hopeful that humans might actually "get it" before it is too late!
