White Dog has initiated a charming ritual when she goes on her pre-bed walk with Steve. Each evening she brings in a stone or a twig or some "bit" that she gathers on the walk and proudly presents it to me. I accept her gift and thank her for making me a part of the walk process. In return, I gift White Dog with a treat. We are both happy to end the the day with such a positive exchange.
