White Dog and Milo, the iguana, became conspirators in crime. Milo pushed off the chair the box holding puppy treats and toys (baby gifts for when Gregg's and Candace's puppy arrives). White Dog snagged the rope ball chew toy and claimed it for her own. When I discovered the theft and found the ball laying next to the smug Eskie, I demanded its immediate return. White Dog looked at the toy; looked pointedly at me; and then purposefully knocked the ball under the couch out of my reach. There it remained until White Dog reclaimed it so that she could show off her "prize" to Steve when he came home. It is now back in the box which is safely in the closet and White Dog is mutteringly mad.
