White Dog took Gregg and Candace to the pupusaria for lunch after Agility Class. Knowing we would have muy mucho leftovers, we agreed to order each type of pupusa that this wonderful El Salvadorean restaurant made and share. The staff sort of raised an eyebrow and chuckled as they brought out plate after plate of tortilla dough stuffed with chicken, squash, shrimp, garlic fish, cheese and chiles, shredded beef, beans, cheese and ham, and (White Dog's favorite) chicherone...cooked in butter. White Dog even likes the carrot-orange juice drink, but avoids the spicy cabbage side dish. It was great fun and a chance to practice our poor Spanish skills on the most tolerant and kind staff.
