White Dog pronounced the Mole Fiesta a perfect party! All of the food was fabulous and the guests all charming and delightful. It was especially fun to watch Richard whipping up a tuna sashimi pico de gallo with plantain chips in the kitchen alongside Amy in her cute apron making rice. The weather was beautiful enough that the group spilled out into the yard where smells of mole wafted overhead. Daisy and Poppy and family brought delicious guacamole but the girls preferred the turkey rice casserole the White Dog made especially for her non-chocolate-eating guests. Music, conversation, and laughter continued even after an incredible half-hour long downpour which we all watched joyfully (inside) as we lapped at fruit palletas. Then the girls (White Dog, Daisy and Poppy) did what all of us stuffed and happy humans wanted to do...they curled up around random guests and napped.
