White Dog had to wait all morning but it finally stopped raining long enough for her to take Steve on a birthday walk through the Park. There was a pond and gardens and beautiful glades...and lots of people out with their dogs. Our planned early morning trip to the Farmer's Market was cancelled due to the downpour but Gregg and Candace took Steve for truly authentic dim sum at Super Star Asian. Steve ate chicken feet, snails in black bean sauce, and tiny baby squid fried in garlic. White Dog says the menu sounds like stuff Steve makes her drop when they are out for walks! After the Park it started raining again and puppy Dragon relentlessly attempted to bite White Dog's tail...naptime! Tonight the humans are off to some modern dance performance and again White Dog is stuck babysitting! White Dog wants Steve to know how special he is to her, how grateful she is that he shares her life, and that she wishes him the best, most wonderful birthday ever...even if she must mind the baby monster to make that wish come true!
