White Dog, Steve and I headed out into New Mexico's glorious sky blue day to pick up Gregg, Candace, and Dragon for brunch. There was no agility class today and the weather was perfect for a sun-kissed autumn adventure. We drove to Coralles, a little off-beat community north of Albuquerque and stopped at a restaurant that we had heard good things about. We had the patio mostly to ourselves and the wait staff brought attention, bowls of ice water, and bacon for White Dog and Dragon. Afterward, we drove down the backside of the mountain so that we could meander amidst the changing leaves, hike through the lush pine smells, and, in Dragon's case, take a little swim in a creek. White Dog thought Dragon smelled much more interesting after Gregg pulled him out (muddy and unrepentant). It was a "make-you-smile" kind of day.

Hi Siku!

That's so cool you get to go to brunch at a restaurant! I don't think we have dog-friendly restaurants here...*sigh* It sounds so fun to go to New Mexico! Wish I could go too...*grins*
