White Dog greeted me after work with a pebble for trading and a ruff full of some gunk that she had rolled in. As expected, she was less than devastated when she learned that I had been let go from my job. Architect David had hired me because he had a big new commercial development to design; yesterday he received word that the project had been put on indefinite hold by the investors and might never come to pass. The only other work he has is nearly complete. I believe he is a little nervous about his own fate. So for now, White Dog has me back home all of the time!
