White Dog, apparently, is willing to live with the indignity of being carried squirming and protesting to the car on "Go To the Park" mornings. Once she's there, everything is wonderful...a romp in the park, if you will. When she and Steve return home it is just the normal routine--no extra White Dog "I missed you soooo much, mom!" loving, no clinging to my side and leaping to obey my every word...in fact, it is breakfast, send Steve off to work, and then a nap for the "traumatized, separation angsted, anxious" Eskie!

P.S. Tortoises are not cooperative patients!

I can't imagine giving medications to a tortoise! I'm glad we don't see exotic patients!
