White Dog had an unsettled day. She awoke to a sleepless Steve who was still shaken by an unpleasant incident with a coworker. As much as she tried to distract him, White Dog could not get Steve to let go of his morning dread of the workday. Going to the Park was lost to Steve's trauma. Later, when Brenna took White Dog for a neighborhood walk, White Dog was rushed by a scared lost puppy who followed them home. Brenna was sensitive to White Dog's distress and she carried her home in her arms before leashing the stray and walking the area until someone recognized "Jordan" as theirs. Safely behind my shoulders on the chair, White Dog was shocked and frightened by the sounds and tantrum of two-year-old Camryn during a fit of temper. It is late now. Steve is home from work and calmer. White Dog has at last relaxed in the safety and security of my blanket folds...everything will be all right.

Isn't it amazing how our furbabies sense our feelings?? White Dog, you are so wonderful to care so deeply for your dad during his tougher days. I'm sure it is a true pleasure to come home to your sweet love.
