White Dog was impatiently scratching at the door to get out before Steve even put the car in "Park". It was a blustery winter day (by ABQ standards) and we were at the local vacant parking lot turned Christmas tree store to find our holiday tree. Steve had parked so that I had a clear view and he could communicate by gesture with me...so White Dog led him into the trees to begin searching. Steve paused at a a cute Charlie Brown specimen; White Dog just glared at him and sniffed on. He held up a nice one but White Dog and I agreed that he needed to think taller. Finally, exasperation showing in the way she looked over her shoulder and strained at the leash, White Dog dragged Steve to a tree leaning at the back fence. He held it up. White Dog circled. Steve rotated the tree so that I could see all sides. I gave the "Thumbs up." Steve looked at the price tag and smiled...SCORE! White Dog was already hustling the attendant over so that he could carry our tree to the car and help Steve secure it to the roof. Although it was just a few blocks, White Dog rode head out of the window watching the roof intently. At home she sniffed until Steve put the tree in just the right storage spot on the deck until decorating time. She has since checked on it several times.

Awesome Siku! Am sure the tree you picked is perfect. Good thing they have us to pick out perfect Christmas trees. Teehee! What would our humans do without us?
