White Dog is like a child with her Christmas bounty. She gathers her new toys around her when she sleeps. The first thing she does when returning home from anywhere is to rush about taking inventory. In playing "Get It!" each new item gets thrown and returned only a handful of times before White Dog switches to another Christmas gift. Already she knows each new toy by name: "Cookie," "Kitty," "Mousie," "Cuddle Bone," and "Wacky Ball." It gets harder and harder to come up with unique toy names because White Dog is very overindulged! But it is fun to watch her enthusiastic play even when she plays by herself tossing the toy in the air and pouncing on it.
