White Dog was resting on her back, legs in the air, next to Steve after an especially active afternoon. Steve was working on his laptop. It was at he type of cozy scenario common at our house on a quiet evening. I looked across the room to where they sat on the couch expecting to be flooded with tenderness by seeing my two loved ones side-by-side. Instead I gasped and then started laughing (yes, awaking the dog). Steve had been using the unconscious Eskie as a copy stand. The page he was transcribing was propped up against White Dog's legs where it stood straight and easy to read! Exploiting the sleeping dog just seemed wrong, I said. White Dog stretched her legs out longer, turned a little more toward Steve, and went back to sleep (which Steve took as permission to continue).

Siku, hopefully your Dad rewards you with treats for using you as a copy stand!

THANK YOU for the great laugh! As we read this post, we could just see that precious little eskie with her legs serving her master! Just too cute, and then late last night, Prinnie slept on her back, legs in the air (She NEVER does that - I swear she understood your post when we read it to her). We both broke into immediate laughter, thinking about Siku and Steve!
