White Dog watched Steve fish the ham bone out of the bean soup and set it on a plate to cool. "If you eat all of your dinner, the bone is yours," I said to her. Steve barely had time to set White Dog's usual chicken, veggies, and rice down for her and it disappeared past her lips. When the ham shank was presented, White Dog stared at it then at Steve as though it was some kind of trick. He had to pick it up and actually offer it before White Dog grabbed the bone and greedily went behind the table. All evening we have heard scraping and gnawing and little contented grunts. I have reminded White Dog that the bone could be savored over many days...finally sated and ready to sleep, she agrees.

Do you normally get to eat chicken, veggies and rice for dinner? Do you ever eat kibble?

Oh Siku - good for you! I think I can convince mom to give me a bone too since it should be a requirement for all eskies to experience such pleasure!!

Love, Prinnie

Please tell your mom that we LOVED her web site for her artwork, and think she is an incredibly talented artist. You are very lucky to have such a gifted mom! And please tell her we wish her our very best at her exhibit on Saturday - we wish we could be there in person!

Hana,
Mom makes my food and changes the chicken with turkey or beef sometimes and the types of veggies vary and sometimes I get barley or pasta instead of rice. I DO have a bowl of kibble which I eat occaisonally or when I am mad that mom and dad won't share their meal with me and I am proving a point!
