White Dog strolled to the door at Jesse's mom's and waited for entry to the cocktail party that marked Jesse's 30th Birthday. When admitted she sat at Jesse's mom's feet and extended a paw in polite greeting. That was all that was needed--White Dog won mom's heart. White Dog was in perfect party mode: mingling, noshing daintily, lying by the fireplace on her blanket, and enjoying the gorgeous 180 degree scenic view from the ottoman that she had asked and received permission to sit on. The only dog invited, White Dog's fame preceded her (she is Jesse's pride and joy) and everyone was amazed that White Dog's reputation as being "spookily almost human" was not exaggerated. It was a lovely party and White Dog's "Thank You and Goodbye" prompted Jesse's mom (not a dog person) to hug her and whisper "Come back and visit me again soon." Happy Birthday, Jesse!

Special Note: Thank you, my special friend, Isis, for this beautiful, touching award. You are so kind and generous to share it with me!

How great that White Dog got to attend the party with you. I can picture her greeting the party-goers and offering her help to "show them around". What a perfect hostess.
