White Dog has treats that are sticks of rawide filled with cheese and bacon stuffing--kind of a tight, hard cannolli of sorts. Amazingly, she can work and push the center filling out of the rawhide tube without damaging it. It takes time and a lot of finesse but when White Dog succeeds, she scarfs the filling. After she gnaws the rawhide a bit but stretches its chewing life over several days. White Dog's logic is not clear but she has been consistent throughout the pack of treats.

sounds like a wonderful treat siku! I can't eat any rawhide... it makes me throw up. :( Btw- those bark bakery cookies you sent me for christmas that were made near you- are my very favorite! is there a way to get a hand on some more of those?

That would be adorable to watch. White Dog, do you sometimes not like rawhides any more?? Prinnie is going thru a spurt where she takes a small rawhide bone, tries to hide it, but won't eat it. We thought it might be sore teeth, but they seem ok with other hard treats.
