White Dog was saddened as she read the enews article about the bad economy forcing families to give up pets and the resulting overflow at shelters ( http://tinyurl.com/azwc2q ). "How horrible it must be to lose your family and your forever home," she sniffed. "Sometimes very loving pet owners are left with no other choice," I said. "They do what they feel is best to keep their pet fed, housed and safe. It is not an easy choice and they grieve, I am sure." White Dog snuggled against me and we said a prayer for a brighter future.
