A Year Ago Today

Mason Dixie tagged White Dog to share what she had been doing a year ago today. Thanks to the wonders of blogging here is her entry from February 1, 2008:

"White Dog seemed kind of depressed. She spent the morning at her window perch sighing over the continuing, never-ending road construction. When Max called to play at midday, White Dog perked up a bit and went outside. She came in shortly after full of leaves and warm from the sunshine, but not happier. She spent the remainder of the afternoon listless at my feet or stretched out and staring blankly. Steve pulled her out of her funk after dinner by taking for a ride to buy gelato which she shared with enthusiasm. "

Max, our nephew's dog, is still in goofy love with the White Dog except now he lives with Rob and his wife of 10 months, Sarah, in a house across town. He seldom gets to see White Dog since he is not a travelling boy.

The road construction FINALLY finished up over the summer but our cacti still have not recovered. The new water main is hopefully helping preserve the dwindling water supply from the aquifer by using water from the San Juan Chama river system.

White Dog loves gelato, especially pistachio. Still.

So now...Isis...Hana...what were YOU doing a year ago today?

Neat game!

Siku, I know exactly what I was doing a year ago today, and I don't even need to look it up in my old posts. (okay maybe I am a day or two off, but I checked and I am right on target)

I was celebrating my barkday exactly one year ago today on February 3rd. My barkday is not on Feb 3rd but that is when we celebrated it. It was a Sunday and it was a Superbowl/Barkday pawty for me! An annual celebration. I will blog about it later....

How neat to look back at a year ago - I have no idea what we were doing, but Iknow that we had just gotten our Prinnie about a month prior, and were loving her so very much. Unfortuantely, Peanut Butter hadn't come to like her yet.

Thanks for playing and sharing your year ago story. If I am given the chance later this year I too will have a blog entry. =)
