White Dog's Hobbit Birthday Gift finally arrived! After thoroughly sniffing the outside package, she and Steve opened it to reveal treats galore: salmon sticks, jerky, venison and sweet potato biscuits, and greenies! White Dog wanted to sample from each bag but was allowed to choose only two since it was before dinner. She picked venison and a salmon stick then sat patiently at the box hoping for more.

My birthday was in December. A Hobbit gift is from mom on HER birthday (March 15). In the book, Hobbits GIVE presents to the people they love on their birthdays in addition to GETTING them. Mom's gift to me somehow got hung up and was just delivered.
Good for you, Siku! Great treats, lots of love, and a a very giving mom! What a great surprise it must have been as you opened the box!
