White Dog sometimes finds Gordon a little much to handle--like today when he dropped in flush with the UNM Lobos basketball win, so excited that he could not stop rubbing White Dog's shoulders as he talked a mile a minute about the game (none of us follow sports). He was also full of gossip about the college and its petty intrigues...at the same time he wanted to hold White Dog in his arms as he gestured and gushed about his banjo playing and its future music website. White Dog ran for the far side of the couch when Gordon was forced to release her in order to view my latest paintings. She did return to him when (a short time later) he had to dash--but not before vigorous belly rubs to White Dog. We all sighed to get air as he rocketed out of the drive.

That's a funny story. That's how my new brother is - he is very active and takes the breath right out of me sometimes. I tell him to relax and lay down, but he doesn't listen well yet. I'm teaching him who the boss is, though.

Love, Prinnie
