White Dog helped me make enchiladas for Camryn's 3rd Birthday Party which is Saturday. She tasted the ground beef before I mixed it in to cook with the onions, potatoes, and spices. She brought me a dried chile pod that had escaped as I ground them for sauce (though at first she thought she might like to keep it but after a bite reconsidered). White Dog cleaned up the fly away cheese from grating (plus a few extra nibs that got too small to hold against the grater). Supervising as I assembled, White Dog made sure each enchilada was nicely filled and rolled...and that the pan was properly sauced and topped with cheese. Then she minded the oven while they cooked. When they came out perfectly we put them in the refrigerator and enjoyed the leftover bits of hamburger and cheese.

Good job, White Dog! I love how you help mom and show her your cooking skills. The cutest part is that you save just enough for a little snack when the meal is complete! Well done!
