White Dog has been eating like a bear preparing for winter hibernation. Her kibble bowl seems to always be empty; she eats her dinner meal with gusto and then begs from our plates; and she is making trades with such abandon that she runs out of items to exchange for treats (and must resort to pathetic options like the tiniest pieces of dried grass). White Dog doesn't appear to be packing on pounds but Steve suggested that maybe this weekend we should attempt to entice her onto the scale just to make sure! White Dog, offended by his insinuation, took her beef bone and left the room. Steve spent the rest of the evening (and more than a few treats) trying to soothe her hurt feelings.

Keep a close eye on the girl and the eating thing- could be nothing, but if she keeps eating like that abnormally- maybe a blood panel including the 'Thyroid panel' would be a good plan. Just to be sure!

Siku, don't listen to them. You look fine. I have hypothyroidism, and I am just doing fine. I was putting on weight, but I wasn't eating much at all, but now it is simply taking some medicine every morning and night. The best part is, I get a great treat with it.

Ya, Siku, nothing makes me happier than a good mouthful of food. I'd eat 24/7 if my mom and mommy would let me. Baking day drives me nuts because I smell the treats all day and mommy makes me wait 'till our night time snack time to "taste test".
