White Dog's favorite time of year is fast approaching. She loves the cooler days and slightly chilly nights when we no longer must rely on the swamp cooler to make the temperature bearable. Most of all, White Dog seems to enjoy of smells of autumn that come wafting along on the once again active breezes. Sometimes White Dog just stands in the middle of the yard, nose tilted up, tail in perfect Eskie floofiness, wind ruffling her fur, eyes closed. She is totally into the moment of being one with the smells, and the sounds, and the air. It is calming to see her this meditative stance.
