White Dog had been tormented by the black and white cat who lives across the street for nearly an hour. The cat sat on our driveway grooming and sunning himself as he watched White Dog through the window scratching and barking. When Steve came home the cat moved off the drive onto the neighbor's yard, still within White Dog's sight. Knowing that she would give chase but would not attack the feline or enter the street, Steve let White Dog out to give the kitty a little exercise. White fluff went flying after the black and white streak across the yard and up on the car roof. White Dog seemed a more surprised than the cat when she too sprinted up the bumper across the trunk and onto the roof. Kitty jumped down and ran home...White Dog continued to bark a challenge from the car roof...then she looked to Steve to help her down. We just shook our heads as the victor trotted back inside.

Wowie Zowie! On the car roof! You go girl!
Oh, Siku, you are so brave to climb up onto the car. That'll show the black and white cat who's boss! Tuna steaks? Did you get some? My Mommy loves tuna steaks!
Love,
Teddy Bear
Siku ! you were on the roof of a big metal machine?! what was it like? we can see the tops from our window.... but... never have been on one.
Really, I can thank momentum rather than bravery for ending up on the roof...and if dad hadn't been there to help me down I would have been really scared!
Oh Siku - YOU get it - I got in trouble for trying to chase of dangerous creatures while we were camping with the dog house. Little kids, big dogs, monster quirrels - they were all taunting me too, and I HAD to show them who was boss, right???
