White Dog is stretched out on the bed. It is 7pm and the last guest just left the Baby Shower which began at 2; she is exhausted and tired of party manners. (Buster snagged cheese off the tray and Poppy grabbed a quick lick of the cupcake frosting...which appalled White Dog)! Everyone had a great time! Daisy's and Poppy's family was so thrilled with all of the cute baby gifts; Daisy and Poppy even received new "Big Sister" presents. Dragon turned out to be the best Squirrel hunter finding all 10 squirrels before anyone else. Buster Saved the Baby in an amazing 1min38sec; everyone agreed that Daisy had to work on her skills before her human brother arrived. She took nearly 5 minutes mostly because she wanted to stop and ponder each jump and smell the flowers...as her dad said, "she lacked a sense of urgency." Nobody correctly matched all the owners to their dog babies! (For those who tried: 1(Nicolette Sheridan)E; 2 (Pablo Picasso)A; 3(Queen Elizabeth) K; 4(Paul McCartney) I; 5(Helen Keller) F; 6(Oprah Winfrey) L; 7(President L B Johnson) D; 8(Paris Hilton) H; 9(Julia Roberts) J; 10(Brad Pitt) B; 11(Adolph Hitler) G; 12 (Martha Stewart) C). The best boy flower name was Brenna's "Dan-D-Lion". It was a beautiful autumn day filled with great fun, good food, and lots of happy wishes. A success!
