White Dog couldn't believe it as I put on my shoes and jacket and told her we were all going for a ride! Since getting sick over the summer I have been rather hermit-like as I recovered and have not gotten out much. She bounded to the car but rushed back to make sure I was coming, then waited patiently as I slowly got in and situated. Steve started the car, rolled down "her" window, and we were off (White Dog with her head out of the window wind in her face)! We only went to my doctor's office for a blood test but to all of us it seemed like a big adventure. Too quickly we returned home but both White Dog and Steve showered me with praise about how well I had done.

YES!!!!! Excellent!!! I bet you felt so much better if even for a short trip to the doctor. Just think - a few months ago, going out wasn't an option. You've come so far and we are so proud of you - all of you!

Aw, both my babies were so happy. And Sue did GREAT on the stairs on our way back into the house!

hurrah! Hey, siku, is it real cold there? our mom has been complaining non stop about how 'where the heck is fall this year it's already too darn cold' along with some other words when she's walking ben. -tes
