White Dog and Steve took advantage of the slight breeze and shade from the huge elm to do some outside labors of love. While Steve fussed with the Zap! Electric Car and washed his "motor fleet" White Dog stretched out at the base of the tree and supervised. She did get up to chase soap bubbles down the driveway and got her feet wet. We spent a relaxing holiday at home with no social commitments, indulging our whims...lots of games of fetch...snacks and more snacks (watermelon! which White Dog loves as much as Steve does)...the smell of meat and vegetables grilling for supper...a good brushing (for one very white and fluffy member of the family)...just "hanging" time. White Dog was puzzled as the beautiful day turned to night about when exactly Labor Day had become a fireworks using celebration (she hates the noises).
