White Dog ran back and forth between the front and side windows intently watching the activity at the house next door. The duplex has remained empty all summer after the horde of constantly partying teenagers abruptly moved out last May. White Dog did not miss them one bit, but she was curious about the new person obviously moving in. She watched and barked a friendly "hello" to the woman. When she turned around I saw that it was Janet, the owner of the property. It seems that she is moving into the larger back apartment and is selling her other house in an effort to downsize now that her kids have flown the nest. White Dog likes Janet who always takes time to pet and greet her. She will be a good quiet neighbor.

That's great to hear your good neighbour is moving in! I LOVE good neighbours, coz they're always kind and tolerate my barky-ness sometimes...heh!

oh boy a quiet neighbor! we completely understand the importance of that!

Siku, mom came home from jersey the other day with a bag of dog stuff- i just know it i could smell it. And she said something about it being christmas presents. What is this christmas stuff? And something about it, not being all mine?

Oh, thank goodness it's Janet moving in, and not some more college kids. Being one myself years ago, I remember I probably wasn't the quietest neighbor either, so we feel your pain! :)
