White Dog considers Friday, the 13th, a lucky day. Extra good things always seem to happen for her on these traditional "Bad" luck days. This morning, for example, Steve made breakfast sausage; something we usually only do on Sundays and which White Dog loves. Then she had a car ride to the groomer, where they always treat White Dog like royalty stuffing her with snacks and giving her the most comfy and prominent kennel to relax in...she also got to visit with her Scottie friend, Seven, who owns the place and has a crush on her. Steve picked her up at lunchtime and surprised us with chef's salad...complete with extra turkey and cheese (to share with White Dog). During the drowsy grey rainy afternoon White Dog pushed down the bed covers and settled into a long nap...even the rain worked to her favor, ending by the time Steve returned home from work. Together they opened the package containing reptile litter for Arvo and discovered a free sample bone! Dinner in bed, cheese snacks during the movie, and a long post-rain sniffy walk before bed...who could call that day unlucky?

Well, we packaged and sealed them nice and tight... and a week later they were full of mold! i was so sad. We had to throw them all out. :( we will have to try again, and i have to start ALL over on your gift.
