White Dog and Steve had the Park to themselves for their early morning run. White Dog loves when this happens. She runs with abandon beautifully streaming across the gentle sloping "hills" and around the stands of evergreens. It is a lovely image with the first rays of daylight spotlighting her sparkling white coat. They returned, invigorated, and were ready for a day where we shifted gears slightly...to prepare and readying the house for the Thanksgiving gathering, a long standing tradition of community where those with no other family to share the day with join us (each person bringing a favorite dish) to celebrate the blessing of friendship.
P.S. Rest in Peace, Snickers! May you be pain-free and healthy as you run across the Bridge. Thank you for bringing us all closer together in a worldwide Cirlce of Paws. You will never be forgotten!

The image of you running in the park helped us to image Snickers running on the other side of the Bridge. We will forever remember her for bringing so many families closer together ... in love.
Your Thanksgiving gathering sounds perfect. A true example of what giving thanks is all about. Loving and sharing.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

We love how White Dog understands how to enjoy life. You are so kind to share your Thanksgiving with those who might be alone. That is the true spirit of the day.

I bet you look beautiful running through the park. I'm sure you're getting excited about Thanksgiving. I think we all are. We are praying for Snickers' family We didn't know her but it's terrible when you lose someone.
Love,
Teddy Bear
